Bowman Library
The Bowman Library is a branch of the Elbert County Public Library System. It serves the community of Bowman with books for children and adults as well as audio books, and DVDs. Bowman patrons have access to online resources of the Elbert County Public Library such as Galileo, Libby, America's News database, Black Life in America, Hispanic Life in America, Heritage Hub, TumbleBooks, TumbleMath and Teen Book Cloud from the Digital Resources link found under the homepage banner. As an affiliate of the Elbert County Public Library System, Bowman Library is also a member of the PINES (Public Information Network for Electronic Services) the public library automation and lending network for 300 libraries and affiliated service outlets in 51 library systems covering 146 counties.
The Friends of the Bowman Library is a library-affiliated organization that support the work of the Bowman Library through fundraising, volunteerism, and library advocacy. The Friends stage and man book sales, assist with Summer Reading, and promote the Library in the community.
